Having a softer steering for my car?

-hi everyone i have a suzuki swift 90' that has a fairly hard steering, it doesn't come with powered steering so sometimes it gets soft and then again hard, what can i do to make it as soft as possible... any tips would be highly appreciated.you should get power steering installed on your car in some way
