I parked in front of a dropped kerb which is no longer in use?
-the dropped kerb was used to enter and leave a driveway, the home owners have erected a fence and planted bushes there as they have moved their dropped kerb further along. I was told it is still ilegal to park there as it is a dropped kerb regardless of whether its used or not, does any one know where i legally stand on this, also across the road is a turning circle and i was told i was blocking this as well i was not on any yellow lines and was not parked in the turning circleYou block someones legal vehical access your in the wrong,if that access is no longer accessable due to a permenant baricade it's no longer vehicle access, dropped kerb or not.sounds like you have pissed off the local ****,next time just point to your tax disc and offer to hang around while they phone the cops, let them decide. My view is that it is illegal to block a driveway. Driveways, by definition must have a dropped kerb. My opinion is that just because it is a dropped kerb, doesn't mean it is illegal to park there.
