No category A on my lisence?

-Ok ive recently passed my driving test and recieved my license.

im now thinking of taking a cbt for a bike but ive been told i need category A on my license which isnt there, all it says is B and B1

can i still take the cbt without this on my license or do i need to apply for it to be put on.

probably a stupid question but its bugging me
