Parking out of control?

-I have lived on my street for 20 years. Back then, you could walk down the street and not see a car parked on the curb. Now, with rentals maxed out, kids living at home until 30, and home-based businesses, it's like parking wars. Is this a new trend, and will it reverse, or is this the way it is? I hate fighting for a spot in front of a house I own, but renters don't seem to respect my space. I know-street parking is fair game, but has it really come to this?move to las vegas/they have 30 thousand vacants there and that will give you space/watch out for the homeless they are everywhere/wife husband kids all on the streets
