What happens if i drive a pa car in nj with a nj permit?

-i live in NJ and have a NJ learners permit. my mom lives in PA and comes to visit me. her car has PA plates and i was wonder if i can legally drive that car if the person in the passenger seat has a NJ licence. I'll drive my moms car in NJ.permits are only valid in the state in which they are issued. if you get pulled over in another state driving with a permit other than the state in which you are pulled over, you will be classified as driving without a license. high five!!!
