Whats a good budget project car?

-a friend and i are going to be building a project. we were thinking of a rat rod or something but i want some more ideas. something kinda small and powerful ( just a 350). and not a pricey project. thanksPick just about any mid 1960's North American car. Aftermarket companies supply excellent products for these projects.i prefer s10's they are a dime a dozen and there a lot of aftermarket parts.
how about either a cobra or a 3 door ford coupe
