Car probs :( Any car know how peeps maybe make suggestions,before you say it, wish i could get shot of it !!!?

-Ford galaxy, 1.9 TDI 51 plate , 80,000 miles,

For a few weeks every morning when i pull off in the mornings first thing, it runs like its cold, each gear takes a few seconds to get full power, putting foot on throttle but not getting potential until it has "warmed up" then off we go.

I was scooting through the rush hour traffic just now, no probs, hit the motor way, tried to get going off the slip road and changed to 5th and no power, dropped back to 4th but once we got to 2 and half thousand revs, no power, no more revs, couldnt go no harder than 65mph.

Came off next exit, ended up driving the rest of the 5 mile journey 30 mph, not exceeding 2 and half thousand revs. Once in a safe place close to home i tested it as i could feel resistance of speed all the way home. I popped it into 3rd and put foot to floor, couldnt get harder than 30mph. Checked bat connection, and for anything else obvious before pulling into local garage. he said without warning light or putting through computer, couldnt possibly tell the problem , to busy to book in. So any ideas anyone ??? could dirty filters, injector heads cause this as its due a major service???sounds like your transmission is not engaging or like your clutch is worn and slipping.
